What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
A good media instition that might distribute my product would be one that has had success with distributing low-budget thriller films. From my research I feel that ‘Kaleidoscope Film Distribution’ would be the best company and I feel that they would be very
interested in my film.
The reason I decided to choose this company because 'at just three years, KFD is a one-stop-shop offering full UK and
international distribution and sales capabilities, and is one of the
fastest-growing independents in the market.' Their previous films are mostly horror thrillers, such as Willow Creek, which was a success. As
my film contains this subgenre I feel that this company would have the
best advice and experience as to how to market and distribute my film. Furthermore, KFD like to work with emerging talent, which gives me hope that they will distribute and see success in my film.
